Walter Schluep "Jesu$ Saves" Melting Flag Pop Art Brooch C.1970

Vintage Pop-Art brooch with a melting flag designed to stir up a healthy dose of controversy. (Those who knew Walter would say he was never shy to give an opinion...)

The use of resin especially in the 70's, has become one in the same of pop art and this work exemplifies more of sculpture rather than the work of a typical jeweller.  The Schluep jewellery collection has become extremely rare and collectible internationally.
